Michele Hairston, LCMHC, CCATP, ISCT
FOUNDER, THERAPIST
For over 25 years, I have been volunteering as a mentor for adolescents and their families through various community based organizations. My passion is to aid in the healing and restoration of families through the love of Christ.
I utilize several theoretical perspectives tailored to the individuals needs that include primarily cognitive/behavior therapy (CBT), person centered therapy (PCT), reality therapy, solution focused brief therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. All client complexities are viewed through the lens of the bible.

Linda Staten, LCMHCA, LCASA
THERAPIST
Everything happens for a reason. That reason causes change, sometimes it hurts. Sometimes it is hard, but in the end, it is all for the best. Never stop trusting God and believing in His plan. I approach counseling in the eclectic theoretical orientation that is focused on Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I take an eclectic approach to counseling implementing other counseling approaches that benefit the client. I believe that humans are capable of being their best and require encouragement or help to get them to a position in life that completes them. I will incorporate that encouragement and support as they embark on their journey.
My experience includes working with the MH/SA population in an outpatient group therapy setting for 18 years. My internship and counseling experience was also completed in the outpatient group therapy setting. The outpatient services include Mental Health and Substance Abuse Partial Hospitalization, Mental Health and Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient, Multifamily Group Therapy, and Substance Abuse Continuing Care.

Paula Boyd, LCMHCA, TBRI
THERAPIST
For well over two decades, I have worked with children and their families in many capacities. I have served in both public and private schools and was inspired to start my own nonprofit organization that provides services to families who foster and foster to adopt.
I attended The Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development and completed a specialized trauma-based training program, which utilized Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge and reshape the unhealthy thought patterns that we often develop about ourselves as we navigate difficulties in life. By combining TBRI and CBT through the lens of Attachment, I aim to support families in building stronger relationships by encouraging an understanding of behaviors as a child's way of expressing their needs.
I strongly believe in seeing each individual as a whole person created in the image of God. Through Him we have hope, and with hope, we can find healing.

Josh Wright, Intern
For a while now, I've realized there is a stigma within the mental health community when it comes to seeking help. My goal is to play a part in eliminating this stigma for all individuals making it so that everyone can feel comfortable seeking help when they need it. From a theoretical perspective, I align closely with person-centered and existential therapy. This means that I value helping others to grow and make progress. It also means that I find it important for individuals to find love within themselves because in order to properly love others, one must love their self. Lastly, I find meaning to be very important for people to find, so I strive to help others find meaning and purpose in their lives and apply that purpose to their spiritual and emotional growth. Faith is something that means a lot to me, so I appreciate every opportunity to help others to grow in their faith in Christ.
I am a graduate student that has a bachelor's degree in psychology and I am working toward a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling. My long term goal is to become a sports psychologist and eliminate the stigma behind mental health in athletes and athletics as a whole. I value my relationship with God and I enjoy seeing him work through others.
